RYPEN is ideal for teenagers who are looking to grow, develop their leadership skills, expand their comfort zone, and try out a new adventure. Participants must be between 13 and 17 years old when the camp happens, which is September 16 - 19, 2022.
When considering someone - maybe yourself? - as a participant, think about whether this person has demonstrated perseverance, courage and resourcefulness. Academic standing should not be the deciding factor. Any young person that would benefit from developing their skills and confidence is welcome.

How Does RYPEN Work?
This camp is creating opportunities for youth to learn through experience. In stable, small groups, participants have "fun with a purpose". They get to collaborate, reflect, make decisions together, break through barriers, resolve conflict, and get past what is holding them back. Previous RYPEN participants are paired with groups which allows them to develop strong relationships. Everyone gets to make their own decisions and is invited to participate. The Camp Facilitator who MC's the whole camp is a professional with lots of experience with youth work.
* Taylor, in the video right, participated in RYPEN, returned as a camp leader, and is an active Rotarian.
